Larry started playing guitar at age 13, first learning top 40 covers, then into the Blues. He later began studying jazz with Warren Nunes when he moved to Los Angeles. Larry has played or jammed with Jimi Hendrix, Crosby and Stills, Joni Mitchell, Arlo Guthrie, Peter Tork, Delaney and Bonnie, and Herb Alpert. He also recorded with Chris Crosby (Debos for Aretha Franklin). Opened for and jammed with Tower of Power, Boz Skaggs, Dick Dale, and Keith Carradine. He also has played with the band Malo (Sapo) and has been in bands with members of Santana. He teaches guitar and bass at Main Street Music and has a Blues Band and a Jazz Band.
